I had a friend in town recently, and we were in search of a nice sit-down breakfast experience. 25 Degrees was walking distance, so in we went to the inside of The Roosevelt Hotel. The food was a solid 4-star experience: pancakes bacon and eggs and breakfast potatoes. Such huge portions and delicious too! The patio was nice and remains open during COVID-19 social distancing efforts. The service was interesting to say the least. Upon our arrival our waitress made a clear point to emphasize multiple times that we only had a few minutes to order breakfast before they closed the kitchen. We were the only ones in the entire space. The second time she told us, we asked her if she preferred if we just ordered off of the lunch instead and she said it's fine. We just felt like we were burdening them for some reason. Anyways, once we got past that hurdle, it was a smooth and delicious experience. A bit pricey at a $60+ tab but a good eating experience nonetheless.

My boyfriend and I were wondering around for hours just enjoying a long walk when he came to the sudden realization that he was ravenously hungry and starving to death, right that minute. 25 Degrees Chicago was only a few blocks away and thank god it was. Amazing burgers and drinks.
