I recently visited 5 Points Market & Restaurant with high hopes for a pleasant dining experience, but unfortunately, I was met with unfriendly service that left a bitter taste in my mouth. Our order for blueberry pancakes was mishandled, and we were served a different type of pancakes altogether. When we brought this to the attention of the person that served us our food, they and a member of the kitchen staff rudely insisted that we had received the correct order. It was a frustrating experience to be gaslit about a simple mistake. The lack of accountability and dismissive attitude from both the waitress and the kitchen staff was disheartening. Their response made me feel as if my concerns were not valid, which further added to the disappointment of the overall experience. It is disappointing when a restaurant fails to deliver on both the quality of food and customer service. Although I had initially been excited to try their food, the negative encounter overshadowed any enthusiasm I had. I hope that the management takes note of these concerns and works towards improving the overall customer experience in the future.
