Love A&S! A family favorite. Great sandwiches. If you have not tried The Godfather ( eggplant, roasted red peppers. Mozzarella), I highly recommend it. A&S has also catered events for me, and the food and service was excellent.

I order lunch from here often since I work so close and it hits every single time. My favorite is the burrata BLT and I get mine with chipotle mayo. Their bacon is crispy and thick, never undercooked. Their arancini is also to die for! I've never gone in there and seen it empty, there's always people ordering at the counter and others buying grab and go, prepared foods, cookies, etc. That's how you know it's good. Everyone working there is friendly and helpful, and always very organized. It's like having an Arthur Ave right on Black Rock! If you're looking for Italian specialties, this old school deli is sure to have them.

I had A&S cater a dinner party for 32 people. The catering menu has many great selections. Appetizers, salads, main courses, desert. All arrived at the promised time, ready to be heated up for dinner. We were having a cocktail and appetizer "hour" in advance, and preferred heating the dinner as our guests were socializing. The dinner was enjoyed by all, with many of our guests making very positive comments about all of the catered food. I would not hesitate to give them a 5 star rating.
