Beer selection is vast, there is usually only a couple that I am interested in though. They allow dogs on the patio and you can order food from Los Gorditos next door and bring it over. Price per person: $20–30 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Always reliably great tap list, perhaps no-hype for beer geeks but many classics and always a Hair of the Dog Nitro Adam, many Firestone Walker and Russian River beers, even rare ones, local and mainly west coast beers. Worth the visit, relaxed and open late on weekends. Price per person: $10–20 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Great Beer Selection, Pliny the Elder

Disappointed in APEX for not standing behind its products despite typically positive experiences dining in. We bought a bottle of Old Rasputin XIV barrel-aged stout (not cheap) from the brewery, and upon opening it at home, discovered it was completely flat. When we called APEX to inquire, their only response was that it was an "old bottle, and it happens", with no concern for rectifying the situation.
