Beer bars don't have to be pretentious and Apex is proof. With plenty of seating indoor and out, this spot might be the best in the neighborhood for a casual drink (they have like 50 beers on tap, fyi). You can bring a group of friends, or a date... but if you bring a date, I highly recommend bringing friends in case it goes terribly... for some reason beer dates have never gone well for me, sorry - I'm projecting. There's lots of room to park your bike, in case you're anti-Nike. They're also dog and bring your own food friendly... so, see you there.

Fabulous beer hall. Massive number of taps! Bar staff very welcoming and helpful. They're cool with bar patrons bringing in food from adjacent restaurants and carts. Large fridge section with to go bottles of choicest brews. What's not to love? Go Right Now!

Traditional pub with delightful selection of beer and cider, most on tap. Friendly staff, but no food made there. OK to bring in food – or even have it delivered there; often from neighboring eateries!
