We went here on the recommendation of someone we met at the resort we were staying at. We are they type that prefer the cheap local taco places which are harder and harder than find in Cabo and especially around the Marina. Most the places we used to eat at in Cabo have either changed to a $ 20 an entree place or are no longer around. Out front end said the burgers were massive and f we could get a table by the water there was some great people watching too. If your driving turn in at the Casino and drive straight back and there is a small lot and the attendant will let you in and give you a ticket and they will validate it in the restaurant. We went on a Tuesday night and it wasn't very busy. There were nicely placed televisions everywhere without blocking the view. They had sports on all of them. We ordered a 1/2 pound Rancho Burger that was huge! It had caramelized onions, tomatoes, cheese, bacon, avacado, lettuce. Pickles and coleslaw and fries on the side. We shared that between us and it was really the perfect amount of food. We ordered their lemon pie for dessert and it was great also. They brought us a nice little board of tortilla chips and ritz crackers with a smoked tuna dip that was outstanding. The burger was served on a wood cutting board and it was presented very nicely. Our server was friendly and engaging and he had some great Cabo tips. We really enjoyed watching the sunset and after all the evening sunset cruise boats were coming back in and it was fun to watch them. We would eat here again. The bill was right about $ 20 for the burger, pie and 2 bottled waters.
I'm amazed at the stellar reviews here. The only thing that would really merit 5 stars for our experience was service. Our servers were prompt and friendly. Otherwise, this place is nothing special. We ordered- Chips and salsa- chips were too thick to enjoy the guacamole and salsa they came with. Buffalo fries- the flavor was there but the fries were sadly soggy and that wasn't enjoyable 3 pork tacos- the taco shell was falling apart and embarrassing that they would let it come out of the kitchen that way. Super unpleasant to eat. Flavor profile was boring. We've had better tacos elsewhere. We ended up finishing the meat without the taco shell and even then it was still a tad disappointing. Shrimp tacos- the shrimp was decent although just a tad rubbery and the fried cheese was cool but again the taco shell just wasn't great. Blue margarita- actually pretty tasty with interesting blue bubbles of jelly or something. We might have gotten more drinks but they kept taking our drink menu away. Seems they were short. I have to say that I'm just disappointed in myself for falling for this tourist trap of a sports bar. You could see a lot of locals eating there but the menu is 100% catered to Americans with their Americanized burritos and sushi. The bill was very American too... $46 before tip. If you're looking for the authentic experience don't come here.
This was a total shot in the dark for us and turned out great!  15 of us went here for dinner. I was skeptical at first because it was pretty empty, but when we left I felt like it was a secret we had landed on. The service was pretty good, prices were great and the food was delicious. We had everything from pizza and burgers to sushi. I had the cucumber roll and it was sooo good!  I would definitely go back!
