My wife and I came to this restaurant to get a few rolls. The service was absolutely terrible. There was no one else in the restaurant yet I still had to wait over 25 minutes to even be asked what I wanted to drink. My wife ordered a basic california roll and it tasted & looked like the crab and cucumber had already gone bad yet they still used it in her roll. I got the Mexican roll and while it wasn't as bad as the rotting roll my wife ordered, it wasn’t something i’d ever order again. I would not recommend this sushi restaurant to anyone. We recently moved here from OC and was looking for a nice little sushi place and we have found it, we ordered the fresh spring rolls with shrimp and avacado which is not usually found in a sushi place, but it was delicious especially with the sauce. The hand rolls are good size, toro and spicy scallops, spicy tuna were all good, the salmon crunch roll was amazing. Staff are friendly and the prices are good as well, we’ve been coming here at least once a week, so glad we found this place. Ahi Sushi Here is my brief review of Ashi Sushi in Lake Elsinore. I usually eat sushi at places like Sushi Boat or Ryu in Temecula. If you don't want to make the drive down to Temecula, there's a new hidden gem in Lake Elsinore called Ahi Sushi, Bar and Grill. I asked them what should I try. The waitress suggested the Grandma's sushi rolls. It was excellent. It had a little kick to it which made it so scrumptious. Grandma Rolls Presentation-8.5 Taste-9 The Miso soup was outstanding. The salad provided was also yummy and refreshing. Miso Soup-10 Salad-9 The owner brought an Octopus appetizer on the house. It was pleasant and delicious. Octopus, cucumber, and Halepenos. Octopus Appetizer-8.5(Even though Octopus is not my favourite) The food and service was excellent. Overall, I highly recommend Ahi Sushi Bar & Grill.
