Great atmosphere, horrible staff, mediocre food. I really had high hopes for this restaurant as I have always walked by it thinking “wow that looks good”. Looks are deceiving. I wish I knew the name of our waiter but he was an absolute nightmare. He made faces, nearly got angry that we asked for the dessert menu before finishing our seconds (my partner already finished and wanted to see if there was any dessert he liked). Food is okay, but nothing special and unfortunately with all this added together it’s simply not worth it to spend 27000 HUF at Akademia Italia Budapest. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: Ft 20,000+ Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: They had many options, as a vegetarian I had no problem choosing foods.
