Came in on NYE with a huge group, and opened my own tab. When it came time to close it after many hours of drinking. My bill came out to be double of what I had ordered. From this, I could only think of two possibilities of why it was so high: someone used my tab for their drinks or bartenders made some mistakes. Either way, I think it is up to the establishment to prevent it from happening in the first place. After some "talking", they reduced the bill by half, but there was an extra drink that I didn't have and I ended up paying for it. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

Come to Alewife NYC for the beer and you won't be disappointed!

Deciding what I want to try was the hardest part: 33+ on taps alone + bottles + cans + kegs...

The beer menu is detailed with a small description including taste profile and ingredients used. Or if you like my friend that don't even know what is crafted beer and what he wants, server was super patient and let him sample a few.

For me that could not decide on one, a 4X4 oz sample of any beers for $13 maybe a good choice.
