Wonderful place to eat. The food was incredible. Prices reasonable. And you don't need to be in a rush, either! They even had vegan and gluten free options, although we didn't try any. Our favourite, by far, was the very tasty potato and onion pierogi. DIVINE Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Service is super friendly and prompt. Definitely some great pierogies! Will be back for more. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options!

I just visited Alla’s Ukrainian Pierogies & More in Strathroy, ON. This place is a real hidden gem. They serve authentic, home made Ukrainian food for eat-in or take-out. The food was delicious, my server, Anastasia was excellent; she was prompt, courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. The restaurant was absolutely spotless, so clean you could eat off the floors. They quite obviously take pride in what they do. I had a cappuccino with a bacon and cabbage hand pie, as well as an apple and sour cream hand pie. Everything was delicious. I got some Ukrainian cabbage rolls and borscht to take home for dinner, which I anticipate will be every bit as good as the cappuccino and hand pies I enjoyed in the restaurant. If you are looking for a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner, Alla’s Ukrainian Pierogies & More is a fantastic place to visit, for eat-in or take-out. It will be my new go-to restaurant in Strathroy. Quick update: I took the borscht and Ukrainian cabbage rolls home and gave them a try. They were even better than I expected, and my expectations were high. The food they serve at Alla’s is exceptionally good, I can’t recommend it highly enough.
