Had heard so much positive things about the commons, but unfortunately we were disappointed. March 16 we went on my birthday to celebrate with lunch. We ate mussels, chicken grilled bread, and parmesan grilled bread. Mussels tasted very little, tame sauce. The best was the chicken grilled bread which was very good, but we wouldn't have come back again for those. There was only one waiter in an almost full restaurant. Nice guy who served lovely cider, but it was obviously understaffed. Unfortunately we will not be back. Allmuen truly stands out highlighting locally sourced, fine ingredients. The menu changes often, we tried a tasty dry aged beef and fried fish of the day, both were delicious. The pairing with local ciders and beers enhances the overall dining experience.
