Amid the charming wine region of Vienna, there is a fine dining spot that stands out for its creative and flavorful cuisine - Restaurant Amador. The establishment's ambiance is elegant and sophisticated, with a curved ceiling dining room that gives the impression of being inside a wine cave. The interior design is tasteful and refined, adding to the overall luxurious experience. The price range is on the higher side, but the quality of the food and service justifies it. The location is outside the city center, but it's worth the trip for an unforgettable culinary adventure.

The menu at Restaurant Amador is a sensory journey that showcases the chef's artistry and passion for cooking. The dishes are inventive, using premium imported ingredients and boasting unique flavors and textures. Some of the standout dishes include the Tomato in Different Textures, the Squab with Lots of Foam, and the Käsespätzle. The dessert presentation is a work of art, like a piece from Kandinsky. The wine list is extensive and interesting, with excellent pairings for each dish. The cocktails are expertly crafted, and the soft drinks are refreshing.

Whether one is celebrating a special occasion or looking for a once-in-a-lifetime dining experience, Restaurant Amador is the perfect place. With its exceptional cuisine, attentive service, and beautiful ambiance, it's no wonder why it has earned three Michelin stars.

Three MICHELIN stars: unique cuisine. Worth a special trip!
Very good standard. Our best addresses.

More info

It was a marvelous experience. Maybe the best restaurant in the city. The restaurant's location on the outskirts of the city and literally within a wine estate. The restaurant main dining room is inside a wine cellar (which makes it a little noisy). The room itself is quite fantastic, since it is fully covered by a brick vaulted ceiling. Regarding Amador's cuisine style, be prepared for a tasting menu in which you may have little to adjust. The creations are modern and presented elegantly by a very knowledgeable and sophisticated staff. Amador has an abundant wine list,... we picked white wine from northern Germany but they offer a wine pairing option as well. It was slightly choking that Amador did not interacted with the guests, something that we have gotten us to in other restaurants of this high end category. Anyways, we went there for the food... and food we got. Over 12 plates of over the top delicacies. Highly recommend

Once in a while, you think, "not another Michelin three-star restaurant." Then you eat at a place like Restaurant Amador and are grateful for the food, the team, and the evening. The upcharge on the off-menu surprise courses was steep (55 Euros a dish) but that was the only off note in a delicious meal with several notable highlights, including an amazingly affordable, high quality wine list. The menu changes often but we were big fans of the King Crab Jalapeno Bisque, the Patagonian Toothfish in Sake Sauce, and the Curry Crusted Pigeon. The servers were attentive and fun; they whole team worked in unison. We'd gladly go back and you should go. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
