This restaurant is a great choice if you are in the mood for the Mexican cuisine. Tasty chimichangas, flautas and asado are the best dishes. Good ice cream, churros and grilled mango might be what you need. Delicious strawberry margarita, draft beer or white sangria are the most popular drinks of Amanda's Fonda. It's nice to taste great ice tea or good lemonade.

Children can choose dishes from the kids' menu. Many visitors note that the staff is energetic at this place. Cool service is something clients like here. You will pay affordable prices for your meal. The cute decor and pretty atmosphere let guests feel relaxed here. 4.1 is what this spot received from the Google rating system.

Skip it. People who know good Mexican Food and decent service will be disappointed. Service was very poor (we had the bartender running out to our table from the back despite THREE waitresses chatting together at the register). We had to get refills from the hostess as we rarely saw the “bartender.” Food came out cold from waiting on the bartender to wait tables and serve alcohol at the same time. Overall very disappointing and quite evident not concerned about customer satisfaction. Just the bar regulars and going home. Caveat Emptor. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

My son and I finally made it to Amanda's Cantina and Fonda tonight after having it on my radar for ages. We were met at the door with a friendly Hello and seated immediately.   Drinks, water, chips and salsa were brought ought very quickly.   And all so good.  I had the white peach sangria and it rocked! The menu was full of all the expected Tex-Mex favorites.  But the I had a look at their specialties and found one of my favorite dishes, Molcajete!   They offer a Molcajete for two, but let me tell you, the single serving was gigantic and could easily serve two.  I'd actually be very curious to see how big the double serving version would be.   The Molcajete was absolutely delicious with a separate plate for tortillas, rice, beans, guacamole, sour cream and Amanda's slaw.  That slaw was unexpected but very tasty. Everything was delicious and plentiful.   I'll definitely be back to spend and afternoon on the patio sometime.
