By the end of my dinner, I asked to speak with the manager, hoping to resolve the issues without having to write a negative Google review. However, this only made the situation worse. The manager, named Sammy, approached our table with apparent annoyance. He did not introduce himself and bluntly asked in Spanish, "¿Cuenta que pasó?" It's unclear what kind of training or sourcing this individual has received to be a manager at a large chain restaurant like Andrés, but Sammy's approach was deplorable.
To summarize:
1. The food was cold and of low quality.
2. The customer service, aside from the host at the front, was terrible.
If you are a person of color, particularly Black, I would not recommend this establishment. In my personal opinion, I was treated poorly because of my skin color and because I spoke Spanish. It seemed they judged me without knowing my background. Colorism appears to be a significant issue at this restaurant.
