This little gem is a must stop for Americano lovers. Most places make sock juice, but this place delivers full body, beautiful crema, and it's consistent. Their breakfast croissant is a perfect addition to my new morning routine. The patio has about 20 spots and looks across to quiet green space and pleasant neighbourhood houses. Inside has plenty of seating in an ambient space (including a few wooden toys for the little ones, though I've not seen kids when I'm there in the mornings) . Love this place!
I live incredibly close to this place and had been meaning to go for awhile. I had a ten-page term paper due later that night and headed over early in the morning, ready to make myself a little home there for a few hours. The café is small in size but seemed large with the amount of natural light coming in from all the window and very welcoming as well. The staff was very friendly as well. It was nice to see that they had complimentary dog treats as well! A lot of people were coming in and out of the place, most likely locals. I ordered a mocha and the sunrise (?) muffin. Both were delicious! I spent almost 7 hours there attempting to get my paper done and luckily wasn't shooed away by employees. Over the period of time I was there I ordered a few more mochas and a croissant - which was also really good! I'm not sure what it was about this café but I was able to focus the entire time I was there and able to get 8/10 pages done very early on in the evening before it closed. I'd like to say that I got a 94% on that paper that took me 12 hours to complete and I would like to think a lot of my luck comes from the immense amount of focus I got from here.
Great coffee and hot chocolate. Also was there on a Saturday when they have their amazing cinnamon buns. Lots of locals, lovely corner location and easy parking. A gem just off the main road. Definitely will be back.
