Me and fam were passing along Highway12 on the Outer Banks and that hunger pang hit us big time. My palete is too conventional at times..... Only food I'm used to will do, so seeing the word pizza in Angelo's Pizza was instant recognition my hunger would be properly addressed............. and it was. My buffalo chicken pizza was ordered to go and that was the smartest moved I've made in quite awhile. After the first bite I don't remember anything after that except how good it tasted and how quickly I inhale...... errrr ate it. Spicy, crunchy, satisfying is how I'd describe it. Chain places that serve pizza don't have anything over Angelo's... It's a small town place with big time flavor. I was in town during phase two of the covid19 pandemic so eating on site was not an option but I will go back and take the time to really eat and savor my food. Oh by the way I also ordered a cheese pizza and it was as good as it gets but the buffalo chicken was the bomb. Please check out the folks at Angelo's..... you won't be disappointed. It's money well spent!!
