Honestly, for the price paid it's excellent, comfortable beds, amazing service and brilliant atmosphere in the bar. It's refreshing to stay somewhere nice that not just out to get as much money as possible. Will be back! Service: 5

First stay here following the recommendations seen on Google. The recommendations are correct. The staff are helpful polite and friendly. The food in the Samphire restaurant is very good. The gentleman serving us apologised for the 20 min wait for the food to be cooked fresh. Not a problem at all. The room is small but clean, feels like new, bathroom is perfect with a decent shower. Bed is firm, but it's so difficult for a bed to be like your own. A very good night's sleep though. A selection of pillow firm or soft which is very good and unusual. As for the views, you expect a view of the Forth bridges but sometimes expectations are not matched by reality. Room 3 exceeded our expectations. We'll be back Service: 5

My husband and I had the best wedding day we could have asked for at the Orocco Pier Hotel! We are based in Manchester, several hours from South Queensferry and we were really daunted by planning a wedding so far away from home. We really didn't need to be; the professionalism of the staff and the personalised service we received were better than we ever hoped for. From our inital venue viewing to our big day, nothing was too much for the wedding team at the Orocco Pier! Every question we had, they answered! Our flower girl has cerebral palsy and is wheelchair dependant. The staff were so helpful and attentive to her accessiblity needs. During our wedding breakfast, we had a medical situation and once again, the staff acted with speed, professionalism and compassion. The venue itself is gorgeous and the Fushia room's view of the Forth Bridge is second to none! South Queensferry itself is a beautiful, serene area. We wanted a very non-traditional themed wedding and the staff at the Orocco were not only accomodating, but excited for a challenge! The star of the show for us was Sharne, who was with us practically from start to finish with our wedding planning. You can tell she takes pride in her work! She is a warm, kind and professional lady. Nothing was too much for her. She took an anxious bride and groom and provided a day that was perfect from start to finish! She even shed a tear when our 8 and 10 year old autistic sons gave their speeches. Thank you Sharne and all the wedding team for our perfect wedding at the Orocco Pier Hotel!
