Nice place and good food! I git the Mami Arepa and it was good but a bit on the heavy side. My husband tried on of their entrees with pulled pork and he was pretty satisfied. Prices are fair and the place can get crowded. Overall, a good way to try some Venezuelan food :)
We took mix mini platter and cachapa, It was good but not as usual the green sauce was heavier than usually and cachapa way too sweet than usually. But it is okay for this time because we come here frequently and everything was always delicious and fresh. This is the best Venezuelan restaurant in NYC. I love arepa cafe! Service is always helpful and friendly.Recommended!
My all time favorite Venezuelan restaurant in NYC, and I know because I've been all over the city searching for the best arepas, cachapas, tequeños, empanadas and other delicious Venezuelan classics! This place has it all and more and the beautiful ambiance and art on their walls and around the restaurant makes you so happy to see. The cachapas are the best in New York, their empanadas fire delicious, tequeños so juicy and arepas aren't soggy and meh but crispy, tasty and scrumptious! Being from Miami, Venezuelan food is pretty much everywhere now but it's still not so huge in NY as it is in South Florida, however Arepas Café really blew me away with its awesomeness! Ustedes de verdad se pasaron con este lugar, cheverísimo y deliciosísimo! Saludos desde un aficionado de la comida riquísima de Venezuela!
