Gave this place another try because the first time I ate here it wasn't very good. I figured maybe the chef was having an "off" day. Anyway, second time around the food still lacked flavor. Since their food was priced at the higher end, i expected to eat good food. However, the sushi was ok and the bulgogi plate tasted bland. The chef and the waitress were both nice which earned them some points for customer service.

I have gone here on occasion for the sushi because I like sushi, so I haven't judged the Korean cuisine here. The Japanese food is good, except that almost every dish is bit too spicy. The rolls that say spicy are definitely just that. It's a little expensive for what you get, for example, I believe a small plate with a veggie roll was seven dollars and while tasty, not tasty or filling enough to warrant costing that much for a single veggie roll. Overall, I say this place is good, but not my go-to option.

I wish I had known this place had changed owners BEFORE I ate here. I had lunch there on a Friday afternoon and they don't really have much of a lunch menu. Very limited, no bento boxes, nothing really special. The interior is pretty run down, the waitress was fairly attentive, which is why it rated one star. The huge fish tank when you walk in is equally unappealing, even the fish look depressed! I had the Japanese side of the menu. The tempura was overly greasy and the salt level was off the charts on everything! I had teriyaki because as I said, there really wasn't much of a lunch menu! There is a new buffet opening up soon in the same strip mall area which will probably give this place a real run for it's money!
