Outstanding food with an innovative, unique, and rotating menu. Everything feels well-priced and the service has been excellent every time I have been, including for groups of 20+.

One of the unique spots on College Ave, with some really good food and a great drink selection. Prime rib is one of the special items on the weekends, but be sure to arrive early. Their burgers are excellent, and the fish and chips is always a good choice.

I was pleasantly surprised when I returned to the Aristocrat Pub & Restaurant after a long absence.  On a cold December morning, I found a convenient parking spot in the lot behind the building (yes, a private lot in Broad Ripple!)  The seasonally closed front patio was festooned with lots of holiday decor.  Once I stepped inside, the warmth of the place took the chill right out of me and I felt welcome. I decided to go to the pub side of the business.  Lots of rich wood and posters and paintings from years gone by gave the place the feeling of an old British pub.  Above all the decor, several silent televisions had mostly sports themed programming on air. I decided to keep my order simple by going with "The Aristocrat" burger and selecting the coleslaw instead of chips as my side.  The burger was one of those thinner patties (probably 4 or 5 oz) and I was asked how done I wanted it.  It came with my choice of cheese and I could also get mayo, tomato, red onion, and pickle.  There are bottles of ketchup and yellow mustard on the table as well.  The coleslaw was a lot like my Mom used to make:  Somewhere between sweet with a bit of juice and the creamy style.  The slaw looked to be about a half cup serving. The burger was very much to my liking.  It's the kind I usually prepare at home.  So, fine execution of the dish, just nothing available to make it unique or inspiring to my taste buds. As I said before, I felt welcome in the nostalgic atmosphere where it was so quiet that I could actually think and hear the murmur of other diners in the pub.  The background music was at a level that was pleasant, not intrusive.  Service was friendly and I was able to get my water topped off and my bill processed quickly.  Nice to know that somethings hold up even after several years between trips.
