Louie did not ask me to make a review. And I generally don't do reviews. But exceptional customer service and high quality food deserves to be an exception to any rule. First off, have you ever heard of any chef calling his customers to ensure their food was not just good, but absolutely perfect? Second, he offered to make a new one and hand deliver it to us. Third off, instead of refunding me the cost of the beef shank rice noodle, he chose to gift us with twice the cost of the soup!
And if that doesn't impress you, here's a cherry on top. I chose to use one of the gift certificates today. He came out and apologized (again!), and gifted us with their chili oil and a fancy fruit tea drink.
With all that said, I do not want my review to minimize how unbelievably good their food taste. And the price is unreal for the quality and quantity that you get. You can tell there is a lot of care and pride in what they serve. I remember Louie saying over the phone, "I only will serve to my customers what I would serve to my own family."
Anyway, Louie, thank you again. The first beef shank was already good. But good is not good enough for you. You only want to deliver excellence to your customers. You have made it up to us above and beyond what was even needed! We appreciate your excellence as a chef and your goodness as a person. Thanks!
