My recent stay at The Woodview Inn in the Thousand Islands (Gananoque, Canada) was, simply put, perfection. If you are looking for an escape that combines historic elegance with modern luxury, this is the place. From the moment we pulled up to the inn, we were struck by how absolutely beautiful everything is. The property itself is a stunning example of historic architecture that has been meticulously maintained and lovingly restored. Stepping inside felt like entering a sanctuary of calm and refinement. Our room was gorgeously decorated, spotless, and incredibly comfortable—every detail, from the furnishings to the art, contributed to an atmosphere of pure beauty and relaxation. However, what truly sets The Woodview Inn apart and elevates it from a "great stay" to an "unforgettable experience" is the hospitality of the hosts, John and Steve. John and Steve are simply amazing. Their hospitality is warm, genuine, and flawless. From the initial welcome to the final goodbye, they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless. They have a wonderful talent for making you feel not just like a customer, but like an honored guest in their beautiful home. Their attention to detail and commitment to service is something rarely found these days. The combination of the breathtaking setting in the heart of the Thousand Islands, the stunning interiors of the Inn, and the incredible care provided by John and Steve makes this a must-visit destination. My partner, sister and I recently stayed at the Woodview Inn. My sister was headed to her Queen's Homecoming weekend and we were off to Kemptville so we decided to carve out some time to visit with each other. I chose the Woodview because the reviews were good and online pictures "looked Nice". WOW what an understatement!!!! This place is just so good. One of the nicest Inns I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. Everything at The Woodview is so carefully curated with many private touches including many treasures from lifes travels. Lovely omage to their families are displayed throughout the house. The owners and hosts, John and Steven just cannot do enough for their guests and are so sweet and kind. After we checked in we decided to eat in their quaint onsite dining room - let me tell you the meal was superb! Loved every bite. There is a well appointed Coffee and Tea station for the morning. Additionally a really great continental Breakfast is delivered to your room in very cute and functional little coolers. Breakfast included a wide range of foods and a cheeky bottle of Prosecco to start your day! John and Steven's extensive career experiences in hospitality and interior design are beautifully reflected both in their impeccable attention to detail as well as their dedication to the comfort of their guests. If you fancy an invigorating get-away at a beautifully appointed Inn, hosted by two kind and charming hosts, you will want to book the Woodview!!! Service: 5
