There are some places that are beautiful, and then there are places that feel like something magical—and the Woodview Inn is truly the latter. From our very first visit to the moment we arrived for our wedding, it wrapped us in warmth, comfort, and a quiet kind of elegance that made our day feel deeply personal and incredibly special. It didn’t feel like just a venue; it felt like home but making it more special as it was where one of the most meaningful days of our lives was unfolding. The Inn itself is stunning in the most intimate way—cozy, refined, and full of charm—creating an atmosphere that allowed us and our guests to truly relax and be present. But what made the experience unforgettable was the people. The level of care, thoughtfulness, and genuine kindness shown by the Woodview Inn team was extraordinary. They anticipated our needs before we could even voice them, handled every detail with grace, and made us feel completely supported from start to finish. Because of them, our wedding day felt calm, joyful, and effortless. We were able to soak in every moment, every emotion, and every memory without stress—something we will always be grateful for. Our guests are still telling us how welcomed they felt and how special the entire experience was. They are also RAVING about the food. Choosing the Woodview Inn was one of the best decisions we made. The memories created there will stay with us for a lifetime, and we cannot recommend it enough to anyone looking for a venue that is not only beautiful, but truly heartfelt. John & Steve went above and beyond to make not only us but all of our guests feel cared for and loved. The care, effort and time they put into giving us the most magical day is appreciated beyond words. There is no where else we could ever imagine as having had our wedding day - I don't think another venue would ever measure up. Service: 5

We had a wonderful time at The Woodview Inn. From the moment you drive up to this beautiful 200-year-old brick building, you feel transported to another time and place - and we were only 30 minutes from home! Our room was beautiful with furniture and decor that fit the period of the building perfectly, and it was immaculately clean. It was also equipped with a coffee/tea maker, and cookies. The hosts, John and Steve, are truly wonderful people who take the time for genuine conversation. When my husband called to book, they went right away to turn the heat on in our room so it would be warm when we arrived - those thoughtful touches made all the difference. Dinner at Graydon's Restaurant downstairs was exceptional. We learned the head chef was off that evening and the sous-chef prepared our meals - he did an incredible job. I had a pasta dish with homemade pasta, and my husband had beef cooked to a perfect medium-rare. The menu was creative and unique, the presentation was beautiful, and the quality and price were far better than what you'd find at typical chain restaurants. In the morning, we found breakfast waiting outside our door in a cooler: fresh-baked muffins, a generous portion of cut fruit (oranges and assorted berries), cheese, orange juice, and even a small bottle of sparkling wine for mimosas. Such a nice touch! The entire Inn feels like an escape back in time. Each room has its own unique decor and artwork - you could visit again and have a completely different experience. Make sure to read the binder in your room about the history of the Inn and the hosts, and check out the picture of Graydon at the bar. You'll fall in love with him. It was exactly the break we needed. We'll definitely be back. Service: 5

My recent stay at The Woodview Inn in the Thousand Islands (Gananoque, Canada) was, simply put, perfection. If you are looking for an escape that combines historic elegance with modern luxury, this is the place. From the moment we pulled up to the inn, we were struck by how absolutely beautiful everything is. The property itself is a stunning example of historic architecture that has been meticulously maintained and lovingly restored. Stepping inside felt like entering a sanctuary of calm and refinement. Our room was gorgeously decorated, spotless, and incredibly comfortable—every detail, from the furnishings to the art, contributed to an atmosphere of pure beauty and relaxation. However, what truly sets The Woodview Inn apart and elevates it from a "great stay" to an "unforgettable experience" is the hospitality of the hosts, John and Steve. John and Steve are simply amazing. Their hospitality is warm, genuine, and flawless. From the initial welcome to the final goodbye, they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless. They have a wonderful talent for making you feel not just like a customer, but like an honored guest in their beautiful home. Their attention to detail and commitment to service is something rarely found these days. The combination of the breathtaking setting in the heart of the Thousand Islands, the stunning interiors of the Inn, and the incredible care provided by John and Steve makes this a must-visit destination. We cannot recommend The Woodview Inn highly enough and are already dreaming of our return trip. Thank you, John and Steve, for a truly magical stay! Service: 5
