We went to Potsdam for an afternoon change of scenery, and since we were hungry we started looking for a place for a decent lunch. After checking out a few restaurants, all were rather disappointing (weird smells, no tables or only outside in the cold or just not open) we came upon Augustiner Potsdam. Service was quick, efficient and friendly. I had the Haxen burger (chopped Schweinshaxe with caramelized onions on a nice bun, with fries and sauerkraut) while my wife had a potato chowder and after a yummy dessert. For the burger it is not a used your hands sort, you must use the provided knife and forks. The food was excellent, and well worth it. Unfortunately the table near us had a rather loud patron and thus the 4 stars for atmosphere. Will def go back when my dad visits us and we make it a day on the other side of Berlin. Highly recommend.
