We came here for dinner on a Thursday night and the ambiance of the outdoor seating was amazing. The food however was not my fav. We started off with 3 types of guacamole with various toppings. Chiccaron, ant larva, and crickets. Adventurous to say the least but the guacamole itself was lacking in flavor. I tried their legendary mole and duck mole and honestly I think I'm not a mole fan but glad i gave it a shot. The legendary mole came with chicken but it was pretty dry. The tortillas were fresh and good. I tried my friend's chipotle enchiladas and those were good, should've gotten that. The duck wontons were also tasty, but only after we drenched and dipped it in the extra chipotle cream sauce. It was a pricey dinner and for what I tried, it left a lot to be desired. Our friend who recommended it really loves it, so maybe it was just an off day or something.

Food was absolutely delicious. It has a very different taste of the usual Mexican food I am accustomed to and exposed to in California. Simply authentic and simply exquisite. If you like Margaritas, try it with Mezcal-the Mezcalito tamarindo and passionfruit. Service is also great. Our server, Elizalde, was very attentive, service par excellence! The restaurant sits at the middle of a courtyard with trees as its ceiling; yes the ambiance is quite remarkable. Salute to Chef Ricardo Zurita. It has made me rethink how good Mexican cuisine could really be. Don't forget the dessert too!
