This restaurant can be recommended for nicely cooked kare-kare, hot dogs and crispy fries. Good root beer is a decent choice. B & K Root Beer Drive In has good root beer float among its drinks.

The change of owners brings poor food, We stopped for 2 hot dog a 12 spanish and a American 6 dog. The first thing I noticed was the buns were not steamed. I suspected the BK. had been sold and after calling the new workers said the Bk was sold in Dec 2023. As for the buns, get by by grilling and avoid steaming. I'll give them a 2nd chance to put more Spanish sauce and steam the buns as BK always served the dogs.

First time trying it this year since the new owners have taken over, and talk about disappointment! Been going here over 25 years and I can’t believe how quickly they managed to ruin things. The waitress was not only rude , but walked away we paid without asking if we wanted change. Waited over 15 minutes for a single hot dog and small root beer. They must have changed all of the recipes. The coney sauce tastes like plain ground beef and sugar, couldn’t tell if the onions on it were what we ordered to be on top or mixed in the sauce. The buns aren’t soft anymore , they taste freezer burnt and hard. And the poor root beer. Used to have a gallon at home at all times in the summer , my husband and I didn’t even finish a small we split. It was so flat and watery, not to mention warm! It never had ice , but it was always chilled when we got it before , now it was flat and lukewarm. It’s so sad to see this happen to such a successful place. Never thought I’d say this, but I wouldn’t waste my money again on this place. The people cooking in the back definitely aren’t the same and it shows. Sure will miss the old B&K!
