A hidden gem found after a stroll at PMQ! Captured by its exotic environment, we didn’t expect Thai street food taste on point here. All dishes were exceptionally great and we particularly love the prawns curry, crab omelette and smoothie. Worth a visit! Best Thai Food in HK – A Must-Try! This is hands down the best Thai food you can get in Hong Kong! The flavors are not only authentically Thai but can easily compete with top restaurants in Thailand. The Khao Soi is a perfect blend of textures—crispy and soft noodles come together beautifully with incredibly tender beef finger, creating a rich and satisfying experience. The Fried Red Snapper with Sliced Green Mango is another standout—the fish is so fresh it tastes like it was just caught from the sea. Paired with the sweet and sour green mango salad, every bite bursts with layers of flavor and surprises. And of course, their Pad Thai is a must-try! Beyond the amazing food, the service is impeccable. The Thai chefs and staff provide top-notch hospitality, making you feel truly welcome. Plus, unlike many other places, you don’t have to worry about walking out with a smoky smell on your clothes. The atmosphere is perfect for a special night out, where you can dress up and enjoy a fantastic meal with your loved ones. Highly recommended! Stepped into a slice of Thailand right here in HK at BKK Thai Street Food - a gem serving up authentic, halal Thai cuisine that had my tastebuds dancing! Here's the review on my dinner adventure: First up, the Chargrilled Chicken Satay (7/10) - While the smoky, tender chicken had me at hello, the peanut sauce sidekick didn't quite make the connection I was hoping for. It was missing that punchy, umami kick that usually makes satay unforgettable. But let's talk about the star of the show - the Pad Thai with Prawns. A flawless 10/10! The rice noodles were the perfect vessel for the succulent prawns, each bite a harmonious blend of sweet, sour, and nutty flavors that had me swooning. It's the kind of dish that reminds you why you fell in love with Thai food in the first place. Then came the Pad See Ew with wok-fried Wagyu beef (8/10). The beef was tender, the noodles slick with a savory sauce, and the addition of egg and kailan brought it all together in a delightful symphony of flavors and textures. Sipping on Calamansi Lemonade (9.7/10), the perfect mix of tangy and sweet, was like a refreshing breeze on a hot day. The Mango & Passionfruit Slushie (8/10) was a tropical dream, though it veered towards a mango lassi vibe - not that I'm complaining. Dessert was the only misstep - Coconut Ice Cream (3/10). While the ice cream itself was decent, the combination of corn and peanuts as toppings was a no-go for me. The ambiance? Pure Thailand vibes, from the decor to the warm, welcoming staff. For my Muslim friends in Hong Kong craving authentic Thai flavors, BKK Thai Street Food is a must-visit. You're in for a treat - just maybe skip the ice cream.
