Looks like a cool BBQ place.... I got 2 meat special with a drink and cobbler for dessert. The brisket had barely any smoke flavor and was not seasoned at all. The sausage was bland. The green beans were good. The ranch beans were room temp almost cold and tasted exactly like the canned stuff. The cobbler was cold, which is very disappointing. Great food, Big portions (lots of leftovers). Perfect night for dinner on the patio. Cashier was friendly. Extraordinary Experience: My wife and I happened by in a quest for Chicken Fried Steak and although we would not expect to find it in a Barbecue Restaurant, Google Maps said it would be here and so it was! And my goodness, it was Gigantic! This Plate-Sized Behometh was well-breaded, dripping with gravy and Delectable. Sides of Green Beans and Taters were also amply portioned and Delish. And it was with my Gamblers Spirit, (never leave the table when on a roll), I tried the Ribs,.. and was not disappointed. Juicy, Smokey and with a Unique Bark these Ribs satisfied. But more impressive than the Fare was the kind attentions giving us by Mark, Owner /Operator of Back Forty. He made sure we were comfortable and happy; even making valuable menu substitutions to quell our finicky tastes! Rest Assured we left Fat & Happy with plenty of take-out to snack at home.
