Try something new from Chinese and Thai cuisines. The cooks here prepare tasty miso soup, pad thai and spicy chicken. Make a change from your traditional meal and order perfectly cooked cheesecakes at this restaurant. You can come across comments that tea is good here.

At Bamboo Bistro, you can order food as a takeaway. The success of this place would be impossible without efficient employees. Fair prices are what you will pay for your meal. It's a good place with the exotic atmosphere. But this spot hasn't achieved a high rating from Google users.

I normally wouldn't bother writing a review, but this was the worst Chinese food I've ever had. The food was extremely dry and flavorless. Not to mention, this food was very expensive as they forced you to order a side with your entree on DoorDash.

Garbage and no remedy! We had a delivery via Grubhub of Bamboo Bistro's cabbage salad, shrimp fried rice, miso soup, lettuce chicken wrap, egg rolls and wonton soup. Support the local economy in this COVID time, you know. When I opened the cabbage salad I found old, nasty, crumpled up papers with felt-tip writing on them (see picture). It literally looked like the garbage I threw out last night. Shrimp fried rice had half-cooked shrimp, which I spit out. The chicken wrap was mushy and "tasted like cat food," in the words of my wife. I tried it, and she was right. (By the way, even the cat refused to eat it -- walked up, sniffed, turned her nose up and walked away.) Egg rolls apparently didn't spend enough time in the microwave -- soggy, tasteless and cold. The wonton soup had a chemical aftertaste, and the miso was so-so. So sadly the miso was the "best" of a bad lot. I called to alert the Burnet location of their quality control issues. I told them I didn't want a redelivery of their food, and they asked if a refund were indicated (ya think?) But Bamboo Bistro was not interested in making things right. They just blamed Grubhub as the "third party vendor," as the manager called it, and told me to call them. Heck, Grubhub did an outstanding job DELIVERING the food. Bamboo Bistro -- the place that prepared, cooked, packaged and sent out the food -- is the responsible party in my eyes. But not a problem -- I'll never darken their door again.

UPDATE DURING COVID: I just looked carefully for Bamboo Bistro in order to order through Favor. I had forgotten some of the reasons for my 5 Star review: very fresh, prepared to order, AND they offer a steamed bowl (which helps just a bit with my COVID 10#). Choice of sauce, well-wrapped spring roll, no problem with a Favor delivery). I  Bamboo Bistro *and* I  Favor This is my first review for a restaurant into which I have never set foot. I first tried Bamboo Bistro when I had a badly injured knee and wanted a drive through experience with healthful (and possibly even delicious) food. The drive-through proved to be convenient, the food was wonderful, and a major bonus is that you can order and pay with this great app. All you have to do is zip up to the window, sign your name and eat excellent food. I love the whole experience, and used it frequently while my knee was healing. I have eaten four or five different tofu dishes (with brown rice!), both edamame appetizers and vegetarian egg rolls. I especially love the Teriyaki Tofu Salad. Everything is great. However, tonight was special. As usual, I chose the pre-order drive-through option. I waited in a short line of cars while a lady in a Lexus got her food. Then the nice man at the window looked out, went to get my food and when I pulled up, he asked, "Victoria?" Have you ever been recognized in a drive-through line? Me neither. Here's the point: if Bamboo Bistro North takes such extraordinary care of one little old lady in a drive-through lane, how great is the service in this lovely little restaurant? My bet is - pretty darn great. Thank you for your time. VCB
