After enjoying Acquario di Livorno, it may be a nice idea to visit this cafe. You can order nicely cooked salmon, cacciucco and antipasto. To try good che is a truly good idea. Some guests like delicious cordial, house wine or fino sherry at Baracchina Alpe.

Choose between indoor and outdoor seating. A lot of reviewers think that the staff is professional here. Most visitors find that the service is prompt. The lovely ambiance will be really just what you need after a long working week. But this place is not highly appreciated by Google users who provided it a below average rating.

Worst. Restaurant. Ever. We visited today and ordered bruschetta and tuscan appetizer for starter, ravioli, pasta pomodoro and lasagne for primi. Did not order a secondi as we actually decided to go home to eat instead after not finishing our primi. The bruschetta(toast with tomatoes) should be an easy task to make, but the bread was really old, the tomatoes seemed like they were from a can and the taste of garlic was nit present at all. The tuscan appetizer featured bad cheese, dried ham(old) on something resembling cabbage "bed", though even the cabbage was dried up.The service was really bad as we waited 10 minutes (in 35 degrees) to get drinks, they forgot our order and we had to repeat it, twice...After we gave up on the food, my daughter, 3yrs, needed to go to the bathroom. The bathroom could not be locked, smelled like sewer, did not have a toilet seat and was very unclean. My daughter, who would not mind to go in the middle of the street, said that she didn't want to go in there and asked we go outside instead. At least we were entertained a bit during our meal as the table next to us was filled with pigeons eating the food left in the sun on plates the guests that had left a while ago.If italy has something close to that guy in the states travelling around "fixing" restaurants, this should be his/her first stop next season.Avoid at all costs.
