After seeing Crane (Zuraw), come here for a meal. You will be provided Polish cuisine at this restaurant. Make a change from your customary meal and try perfectly cooked mushroom soup, roasted duck and cod at Baryłka. You will enjoy its food, especially good crème brûlée, ice cream and brulee dessert. Most likely, you'll come back to this place later to taste delicious mulled wine, ale or beer. According to the reviewers' opinions, waiters offer good latte.
Select between indoor and outdoor seating. The positive aspect of this spot is that the staff is nice. Spectacular service is something guests agree upon here. Average prices are what you will pay for your meal. The lovely decor and cool atmosphere let visitors feel relaxed here. Based on the guests' feedback on Google, this restaurant deserved 4.2.

Very nice place. Very nice service. We were sitting in the garden and the only thing that bothered me was someone smoking cigarettes, but it was not the staff's fault, but the hopeless regulations. Traditionally, I have already tried tartare and I can safely recommend it. Restaurant Baryłka in Gdansk: Nestled in the pulsating heart of the tourist district, commanding one of the prime spots for an engaging bout of people-watching and a stone's throw away from key attractions, one might brace for the typical tourist trap offerings—overpriced and underwhelming. But this is Poland, where subpar fare is a rare find indeed. The cuisine at Baryłka may not be the pinnacle of Polish gastronomy, but it certainly doesn't disappoint. The soups, brimming with tradition and flavor—such as Barszcz Czerwony, Żurek, Rosół—are notable for their generous portions and hearty taste, all available at prices that, while not the lowest, are refreshingly modest, especially when one draws comparisons to Scandinavia. Service, however, can be a hit-or-miss affair. Over the span of seven years and at least ten visits, we've experienced the gamut: from commendable attentiveness to an indifferent "just another tourist" demeanor. It appears to hinge on the luck of the draw regarding when you visit. Despite this inconsistency, the allure of Baryłka's location cannot be overstated, and the quality of the food is reliably good.
