Meh. Might've been a 2 1/2 stars, but... no, maybe not! Not for this breakfast experience! Don't get me wrong: I love their rootbeer, but not for breakfast! In fact, on this day, I got my morning hot beverage from across the hall at the competition (who lost out on food, I might add...) This A&W is in the food court of the St Laurent Shopping Centre. I was kinda surprised that A&W had such a good(??) variety of choices for their breakfast menu. And hey! SOMEone's gotta give Tim Horton's a run for their money! (They're not what they used to be either, and they are inconsistent. But I digress.) Being impressed with A&W breakfast offerings, I'm also trying to watch what I eat, and after some research, this egg wrap fell within the range of allowable to eat. Sounded tempting, too! ... Until I got it, that is! Then I was disappointed because it had ketchup on it. YUCK! I do NOT like ketchup on my eggs! Now that I sit and think about it, I realize I should have complained, but at the time, there was an ever longer lineup and I was too eager to get going on the day's itinerary. If there is ever another opportunity to try breakfast at this chain, I will have to bear in mind to ask for no ketchup. I don't even eat that on French fries!! Sorry, but what I really wanted was a bagel, and this didn't compare! NOt only that, but it was small-ish and didn't fill me up for the cost of it.
