From entering the fish shop last night the attitude on members of staff when ordering food was absolutely disgusting with no manners at all and didn’t even care when ordering and it was like being rushed! The chips were soggy snd no taste to them at all even how watery the gravy was! Not as good as the place used to be and needs to train staff properly including women with brown hair and glasses when ignoring my son when asking for sauce. Will never return to this place and will always use mansels fish shop.

Went to Beales today restaurant was closed, so had a takeaway we were both very disappointed the fish was very thin and not really white like it used to be , first time that we didn't enjoy definitely not up to standard today.

Ive had fish and chips from many places even paying over the odds in swanky resteraunts. But none of them comes close to the fish we had when we visited a few weeks back. The hour drive was worth it and will be visiting more often.
