A UCLA classic. Their food is fresh and delicious. And they have a all you can take salad bar! Complete with at least 5-6 different sauce bottles. And hummus! Yeah parking is tough, but what do you expect in Westwood? You can park at the lot on Kinross for a fee. Or purchase something from one of the grocery stores to use their parking (Whole foods is closest to here). Also there is not a lot of room to eat inside, just one bar and 3 chairs so be prepared for that. I love the (steak) pitas, but the wowshis are popular because it feels like you're getting double the food. Wowshi is basically the pita but cut in two and then stuffed with whatever meat you order. Falafel is exquisite also. Show then your UCLA ID for a 10% discount.
I got a koftah pita pocket last night and have been sick all day :/ my friends all LOVE this place and I was really excited to try it but don't think I'll be back...also it didn't taste all that great when I ate it but maybe I just didn't know what sauces to add? Anyway, if you have midterms or test coming up and can't afford food poisoning then steer clear
Never had a chance to review this place while I was an undergrad at UCLA and it's unfortunate I didnt. This an undergrad classic - the food options are all very cheap, filling and delicious. It is also relatively healthy as well and you never feel too gross having this. Highly recommended if you're in town.
