I did have a good time with my wife for dinner here!
I love the food, wine and people in Belon!!
Food and service here were both excellent. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.  I came for the Sunday lunch and found it to be a good value for the amount and quality of the food. Food: 4.25 stars Service: 4.5 Stars Environment: 4.25 stars Overall: 4.25 stars The Sunday lunch is essentially a main, dessert, and a number of snack sized appetizers.  Everything I had was delicious.  Included in the set is their famous roast chicken and millefeuille. My favorite part of the meal was the mashed potatoes with bacon and peas. The mashed potatoes were creamy and buttery and I loved how the smokiness from the bacon.  The peas added some freshness to the dish and surprisingly I didn't find it that heavy.  Up there with one of the best mashed potatoes I have had. I think its better than what I had at Le Attelier. The appetizers were also really great. The oyster was really fresh and satisfying. I normally don't like Nicoise salad as it is often served with some type of canned tuna fish. However, the aji in this nicoise salad was fantastic and I really enjoyed the couple of bites I had here. The roast chicken uses a local bird from the new territories. My server explained that making the bird is a three day process.  The bird is stuffed with a tarragon, mushroom & pea stuffing in the skin covering the breast meat.  The chicken was very juicy and the jus that is paired with is fantastic. I hope to come back soon to try some of the other signature dishes like the stuffed pigeon.
