Benjarong Thai Cuisine has been a fixture, just off the Esri campus, for about 14 years. Their Fried Wontons are stuffed with ground chicken. They  don't over fry it, you can really taste chicken flavor. It's not so fried, that the frying over powers the chicken flavor. And it's refreshing that their Benjarong Sweet & Sour sauce isn't overly sugary. The sauce compliments , not over powers, the chicken flavor. Their Summer Roll is a shrimp and chicken mixture with various greens wrapped in rice paper. There was a refreshing crunch and liveliness to the bite. You can really taste the freshness and herbs. It comes with peanut dipping sauce, which was bland. The Wonton Soup is built upon  a vegetable broth which is very mild (not to confused with water downed.) Interestingly, the wonton wrappers become very silky and melt in your mouth which reveals the slightly seasoned ground chicken.  The vegetables in the soup retained their structure and flavor. The Phad See Ewe, pork, was very tender. Yet, the broccoli that came with it was still crisp. The stir-fried flat rice noodles were the flavor carrier of this dish. It had a slightly sweet flavor with an undercurrent of soy. This is a nice mixture of textures and flavors. Surprisingly the Fried Rice, chicken, wasn't that fried. It also wasn't overly fried,  it seems to be healthier than other fried items. This dish has the usual items: egg, scallions, tomatoes and onions. The chicken was tender, but the onions had a profound presence.   While a bit on the expensive side, you may want to consider their more affordable Lunch Specials.
