Came here for Valentine's Day with the bf when we were in Berlin last month. I had made a reservation by emailing them about a month prior to our trip, and I would recommend doing the same as it was fairly busy when we went in (though, that could've been because it was Valentine's Day, though it also doesn't seem as if Germans and/or Berliners really celebrate it anyway). The restaurant is inside of a building that was built in the late 19th century. The original timber framing is still viewable, and the restaurant's walls are decorated with either reliefs of folk German images or damask wallpaper. We sat inside of a smaller room, that appeared to be only seated with other couples. This restaurant allows you to choose 3-5 different courses from 2 different menus. They didn't have as many vegetarian offerings for me, so I had opted for their kale salad, their cheese plate, and their fruit sorbet and dumpling dessert offerings. The bf had gotten their soup starter, their lamb entree, and the other dessert offering for that evening. We had also gotten a couscous amuse bouche before our first courses came in, and then a mini dessert consisting of ice cream and a chocolate tuile prior to our dessert courses coming in. The bf enjoyed all of his choices and I had really enjoyed mine as well, though I had just wished that they offered some sort of vegetarian main on 1 of their different menus for the night. Nevertheless, our service was fantastic, and the restaurant itself was lovely as well. Might be worth coming out here for an anniversary celebration or a date.
Bieberbau is not the most convenient location to get to - but I highly recommend it for the quality of food will be worth your trip and it is accessible via the Ubahn/Sbahn. There are 2 menus to choose from ( and may a third vegetarian one but that was not presented or offered to us by our server). You can choose between 3, 4, or 5 course for roughly 49,50, 59,50 and 59,50 - mix and match all you wish. I opted for the 4 course, but long story short there was a miscommunication/language barrier which resulted in my 3 course meal - service was the only reason that this review is not a 5 star. Hands down, the food is absolutely a 5 star quality. The baked potato foam was one of the most flavorful, creative and indulgent " soups" I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. My second course choice was the sea bass with oyster mayonnaise - the oyster mayonnaise was a strong flavor - but I appreciated it for such creativity and execution. My last 2 orders included the Demeter cheese selection and the quince and saffron. I unfortunately only received the quince and saffron according to the server ( although I believed it to be the cheese selection). My partner also enjoyed the baked potato foam as well as the lamb. The lamb comes highly recommended - cooked to the perfect temperature, tender and delightful. If I was to come back to Berlin - I would definitely return despite the mix up in service, as the quality of food for price is one of the best I've ever received. Thank you Bieberbau for a meal I will never forget

We had a lovely evening. The server was knowledgeable and guided us a great wine menu to accompany the food. Food was great and the bread with curry butter (!) was surprisingly good! Recommended. Also quite reasonable prices for a Michelin starred restaurant.
