Visiting from out of town, we stopped to have a drink, glad we did! Drinks were GREAT, food was delicious, GREAT happening place. Live music was good, bartenders were attentive, would definitely return if ever back in Toronto.

It’s good place. One can find all kind of beers. Only one issue I find is it’s too noisy sometimes

We have not eaten at a Bier Markt (yes, the brand has multiple locations) in years, not since we had an unbelievably awful experience at the one across from Sherway Gardens on Queensway. Today, however, we were very hungry, and we wanted to sit on a patio, so we took the risk to dine at this location. We are ever so glad that we did.The sign on the patio said to wait to be seated, but nobody was there to seat us. I went inside; nobody at the host table there either. But immediately, a woman serving tables caught my eye, came right over, and took me upstairs and seated us. This excellent service continued with Emma, our server. She was absolutely lovely: very pleasant, helpful, and efficient. The Sherway location could learn so much from the staff here. The food was delicious. My husband, who is a caesar salad aficionado, could not stop raving about it. The calamari breading was perfect, and the "meat" was tender and not the rubbery in the least. And we shared a meat and cheese platter: the smoked kolbassa was to die for, and I'm part Polish, so I know.Bier Markt brand, you have redeemed yourself. But I'm still not going to risk the Sherway location.
