The food is sooo good! We started with the smoked fish dip. It was delicious, smooth, and not overly fishy. The grouper Reuben was so good. My friend and I shared that and a blackened grouper sandwich. Both were so good that I definitely wouldn't be able to pick one over the other. They came with the choice of fries, onion rings, and coleslaw. We had the fries and the onion rings. The onion rings were good but the fries were amazing. The prices were very reasonable. They had a lot of clean, outdoor seating. We were way too full after to try dessert.

I purchased the fried grouper w/onion rings and  shrimp w/fries. If you gonna have greasy food you might as well add some salt to it. I will say it was large piece of fish on a sesame seed. but it was a large unseasoned piece of fish. The sides for both entrees were small and also unflavored. Definitely will need condiments. The onion rings were stringy and greasy. I bit one shrimp and it was rubbery so I just trash the entire container. I wanted to get the taste out my mouth so I squeezed one of the slice lemons that I asked for and guess what? They were nasty too. Not sure why they were very bitter (not sour). $30 bucks for the two down the drain . I do not recommend.

I read that Big Ray's Fish Camp served one of, if not the best Grouper sandwich in the Tampa area. So I went, and yes, it was excellent. If you like a great blackened Grouper sandwich, give Big Ray's Fish Camp a try.
