This was my second visit to the restaurant and very disappointing. I ordered roasted beet salad, which was delicious and Cassoulet- Roasted duck confit, with sausage which was very dissatisfied. The duck was way over roasted to a point that it was so dried out that I had to really chew on it to get some flavor out of it and the sausage was just burned. I was very hungry, and it was already getting late, to order something else , so I tried to eat at least half of it, but just couldn't.
We wanted a friend to have an awesome dining experience so this was the place.  The staff is always so welcoming that you feel like you are coming home.   The atmosphere could not be more authentic-it's truly like dining at a local Parisian bistro.   You enjoy delicious food made with the freshest ingredients.  The spring asparagus soup was delicious.  The salmon and roast chicken are superb.  My advice is to steer clear of the steak frites.  It is served with so much sauce that has a pungent flavor that you lose everything that the steak could offer. The frites were delicious. This is supposed  be a simple meat and potato dish and I wish they wouldn't try to reinvent it.   We each chose a different dessert (creme brûlée, profiteroles and pain perdu) and each one was magnificent, just the right size and prepared to perfection.
I gave it one star because the service was great. I am not a fan of French wines the Pinot noir had so many tannins it probably could take the rust off of your railings. Horrible wine list and the food was mediocre. I did like the beet salad, but I like everything better with a nice glass of wine.
