Come here for a meal right after seeing Karmelietenkerk Ou Eglise des Carmes. You will be offered Belgian and French cuisines at this restaurant. Here you will be able to order mouthwatering coq au vin, catfish and lamb. Trying good parfait, gâteau and pudding is what many guests advise. You will hardly forget delicious prosecco, beer or white wine that you can find. Great coffee, white tea or ice tea are worth a try here.

It's easy to find Kok au Vin due to its convenient location. The success of this place would be impossible without the well-trained crew. Fabulous service is something that people note in their reviews. You will enjoy the divine decor. This spot received the Bib Gourmand award for tasty meals at affordable prices.

Don't miss this place. I'm not terribly sophisticated when it comes to food, but I'm on the edge of being an amateur foodie. This is the best meal I've ever eaten. I had the four course: the bread came with butter (not just butter, but I'll let you experience that) and pate.  I copied the photo here of my menu. The skate fish was amazing, and the dessert was incredible. The food was NOT over salted nor over sugared, but rather the flavors and textures spoke for themselves. What a wonderful place. I would come to Belgium again just for this. The wine was quite good and only E33/bottle. I think price/value was better than most here.
