Great little restaurant. Gourmet French food. We had appetizers and entree. They had an American menu and very friendly and spoke English.
When we stayed in a nearby Hilton hotel (Niepce PARIS), we asked the front desk manager for a recommendation for a good restaurant. He recommended Bistrotters, and we were blown away by the atmosphere, the excellent food and the personable staff members.
While eating, we found out that they are a Michelin_Guide rated restaurant in their category Bib Gourmand. Usually Michelin rated restaurants are more expensive than we want to pay, but the Bib Gourmand category has fabulous food for an affordable price.
We enjoyed every bite of our meal, and we love that they locally source their ingredients. I wrote about our wonderful experience (with mouth watering pictures) on https://ourcarpediem.com/…/affordable-dining-michelin-bib-…/
Very homey unassuming kind of place, that serves excellent food to the neighborhood locals. We stayed away from the more esoteric items on the menu which I believe was a good idea. Chestnut sauce and chuck meat was a great hit. Do not miss pain perdu for desert. Price was fair for that level of food. Definitely recommended.
