Premium prices for subpar sushi. Style of sushi itself was more Korean/Western. Restaurant was not too full but we were rushed to leave. Recommend going elsewhere for Japanese cuisine. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$40–50 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Some people pointed out the plastic chairs, but izakayas are casual places where you can stop by after work and relieve stress with a drink. In that sense, Black Rice Izakaya is the best izakaya in downtown Vancouver. I was able to taste the highest quality food and feel a comfortable atmosphere. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
