We have been coming to Key West for over 25 years. These folks opened 2019. We’ve never made a point to stop in, but we did yesterday and we were very very pleased. My husband enjoyed the not a lot of heavy cream and you had lobster chunks. We also had the goat cheese croquette that were delicious that came with caramelized onions, potato, slivers, and a drizzle of honey just the right amount of honey recommendation that they add more potato slippers. The carrot cake was delicious. Did not have any nuts cream cheese frosting very very good homemade. Great atmosphere great ambience highly recommend definitely going back. Emily was our waitress and she did an amazing job guiding us. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $30–40

I had to change my reservation time the day prior and it seemed to not be a problem but I do not think the reservation was ever actually changed, so when we arrived, they seemed surprised and did not have a table reserved for us. This was a special birthday dinner, so that was a bit disappointing, especially since we are locals and have many dining choices. They created a table for us (which was wobbly, but we were happy they could accommodate us b/c it’s a small space). The first server asked about a water selection, the next server came to take our food order and she was quite pleasant. Everything we ordered was well prepared and tasty, nicely presented. I think I was underwhelmed because they mismanaged our reservation and didn’t acknowledge it to be a special occasion. I also found the background music to be annoying (like a bee-bop style) and not calming or lounge-like, which would have been a cooler vibe. Finally, the bathroom could use some TLC. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: $40–50

On a busy Saturday night they were able to take our party of 4 and we had a nice dinner in the back patio. The service was great and so was the food. Thank you Blackfin Bistro. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $30–40
