Blossom is one of the best vegan restaurants in the city. Everything here is totally acceptable for a plant based lifestyle. The menu features things like burgers and pasta. It also has a bar. The food is good for the charged price. I had the bacon cheeseburger. It comes with vegan bacon and cheddar on a soy patty. This is about $16 for the burger and fries. It costs more than most burgers. Keep in mind this is a vegan burger made from scratch. It should also be noted at Bareburger you're charged that much and no sides are included. They have a good selection of sides. French fries are good with any burger. They also have dessert, but everything is a hefty price. Good choices all around here. If it's vegan then I'll like it. The price is the only bad thing.
Meh is seriously the best way I can describe Blossom these days.  I've went to Blossom for dinners and special occasions for years now and they used to be AMAZING but they are now very mediocre. They used to be THE best vegan restaurant in the city but their food has really gone downhill.  I wouldn't even bother to write a review but the last 3 times i went there i was disappointed.  twice ordered the lasagna which was really dry and over cooked.  i ordered the chef's tasting appetizers and several of the appetizers would have been better replaced with a slice of an amy's frozen burrito. one of the items just tasted bad.  the drinking glasses are smelly and the prices should be cut in half for food a restaurant that is no longer innovative and seems like they hired a replacement chef to try to throw together dishes without having experience as a vegan chef.  The staff is very nice.  The food kind of blows now.  Bummer.
All food looks great (not on my pics because I tried it first then took a picture, sorry about that)  I was very excited to try them all. The first bummer was water - it was tap water and smells chlorine, I asked a waiter he told me it is tap water but filtered ( the smell and taste were awful). NOTE FOR OWNER/MANAGER: People who chose vegan lifestyle care about their health and you simply can't serve tap/barely filtered water because it's NOT drinking water. Food was below average 1) $27 CHEF'S SAMPLER was so-so, two rolls were with sour pate idk if it's okay, other samples were okay but not fresh,  for $27 you expecting much more. Prepared vegan food from Trader Joe's tastes better. 2) $16 TRUMP(et) MUSHROOMS SCALLOPS - okay, but big chunks of mushrooms were with sour juice inside idk if it's okay. 3)  $22 RIGATONI - just pasta with white bread nothing special. Overall I think this is a good looking place with good looking food and I'm glad they are promoting a vegan lifestyle  but I'm not going to come back there
