I ordered the Grouper my wife ordered the snapper
For $44 I had hoped to enjoy my meal but it was under average grouper my wife’s snapper had far more flavor… my wife insisted I SHARE as I ate 4 rolls mashed potatoes and was just going to leave the fish. We shared with our waitress who’s response was “looks like he ate some of it” well everything was gone on my plate including you two bites of fish where I had tried it …so the manager came over and said there was no point to exchange for the snapper because it’s the same spices used when cooking but we explained my wife’s was delicious but mine the grouper did NOT meet our expectations… I preferred the snapper at that point, my wife is finished with her meal and I was just eager to go at that point I said can you just take half off my bill the manager just continued defensive, aggressive behavior. We were looking for what’s fair as the meal wasn’t eaten, and he should’ve taken it off completely however because two bites were taken and the mashed potatoes were gone he stood their arguing.
The waitress returned with the bill split in half OFF MY GROUPER PLATE which is the poorest customer service I have ever experienced and most disappointed experience I have had…my wife was most upset as she has a job in customer service and felt it was very unjust the whole argument that the manager made of the whole situation.
