It's great to try British cuisine. Order nicely cooked sandwiches and good salads. You may come across reviews that coffee is great here.
Food delivery is a big plus of this cafe. The attentive staff at Bookbarn can show how much they appreciate their guests. The professional service is something these restaurateurs care about. Prices at this place are worth attention because they're adequate. The peaceful atmosphere can make you want to stay here for a bit longer than you've initially planned. The Bookbarn is a really nice place and concept which has changed since I first started going there. The available floor area for the public to browse and find unusual publications, has vastly shrunk to that of the displayed stock of a normal/large bookshop but with wider access between shelve rows. Whilst the cafe area still remains the same size space, with low access tables and comfortable chairs, access to the books now seems to be primarily via the search PC and a dozen or so shelf stacks. - Which I feel has defeated the main attraction for site visits. Particularly as most people would need to drive in order to visit the shop. I recognise that the restrictions during the pandemic put pressure on lots of companies to re - evaluate how they were to move forward, but to me, the pleasure of the Bookbarn was in trolling through the vast avenues of book shelves in the hope that you might come across an unsorted gem. I hope that at some future point, those rows of books can return.
