A good wine tasting, but nothing special. Bouchard Finlayson is set in the beautiful Hemel en Aarde valley, so there's no doubt that the view will take your breath away! But in my opinion the wines are quite average. The tasting area has an antique feel to it which is quite unique and the staff are quite knowledgeable. My only complaint is that they are severely understaffed - to expect one person to manage an entire tasting room on a busy Saturday afternoon is a bit ridiculous. But they do a good job under the circumstances! It's not my favorite farm, but perhaps worth a visit if your heading through the valley.
Tasting takes place inside a wine cellars and the service is really good.
Wines are very traditional and tastes really good
