When I pay top dollar for pastries and coffee, I expect Bouchon's products to be top of the line.... or at the very least insect free. I stopped in to Bouchon and ordered some drinks, including an oat milk iced latte. When I arrived home, still drinking the latte, I encountered something funny in my mouth., I was hoping that somehow the paper from a straw had become stuck in the drink, but no: THERE WAS A FLY IN MY LATTE.  I was utterly disgusted, being that flies tend to go to gross areas quite frequently and couldn't believe I paid money for a latte with an insect. Never once did I remove the lid from when it was given to me, so the staff at Bouchon is completely responsible. I hope someone at Bouchon sees this and attempts to implement some sort of protocol for keeping containers of liquid closed (I assume a fly must have flown into an unattended oat milk container) so that no other human being must experience feeling something weird in their mouth and removing a FLY! Bouchon was a disgrace today.
This is Thomas Keller's famous bakery and the lines are loooong no matter what time of day you stop by.  The first time we visited the bakery, we ordered a Chocolate Croissant and a Caprese Sandwich.  Both were so good that we kept going back to the bakery every morning during our stay in Napa.  (We stayed in Napa and we would take an Uber over to Yountville each morning just for breakfast).  Please note that the sandwich is served cold, we asked them to warm the bread but they declined.  Despite the cold bread, it was still very good that we kept ordering it the next day.  My hubby would also order an iced mocha, which was honestly one of the best I've ever had (I'm not a coffee drinker, but I took several sips).  Just be prepared to stand in line.  This place is not fancy; there were a few small tables to eat outside.  But people eat rather quickly and it seems to work themselves out.  As soon as someone is finished eating, the other person just got finished paying.  Despite the long lines, we never had a problem finding a table to eat.
Line seems very long but it moves pretty fast.  Definitely a place to stop by for a quick snack or desserts with coffee. When sitting outside be careful with the yellow umbrella because I heard it is really difficult to open and can hurt your hand/finger. Ask for help.
