This place is insanely good! Perfect place for a date night. Great atmosphere, laid back, kind of fancy without being over the top. The price is a little spendy, but you get what you pay for. The highest quality of ingredients and incredible flavors that you don't normally see at other restaurants. I think they rotate their menu too, so you can try a variety of things. Definitely recommend checking it out.

Tucked away in the back corner of the Old Mill District shopping area is the fabulous Boxwood Kitchen & Supper Club. Even though we have a second home here in Bend, and eat out regularly whenever we are in town, we just had our first dinner at the Boxwood. The cocktails, food and service were excellent! We were warmly greeted by our server, Jasmine, who made recommendations for cocktails and food selections in an attentive and engaging manner. She was never pushy, but always seemed to be there if we needed something. Our watermelon and kale salad was delicious with delicate flavors. Our entrees, (Steak Frites and Bolognese) were superb. Both featured large portions with interesting and complex seasoning. It's no surprise that we saw one of Thomas Keller's cookbooks on the counter! The atmosphere is subtly trendy and inviting, yet simple. There's no need to create an over the top atmosphere when your food is as superb as the Boxwood's. It's on our Bend Favorites List now!!!
