Afternoon tea var madmæssigt en trist oplevelse. Tørre sandwiches, ingen service, mangelfuld menu og snavsede stole. Dog en fanstisk udsigt. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: kr 200–300

Very pleasant staff. I did not have a reservation and the place was full, but they found a space anyway as I was staying at the hotel. Food was delicious and waiting times short. Nothing too fancy but very good solid bistro food. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: kr 600–700 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I visited Brasserie 1861 last Sunday for the first time and my boyfriend and I got a table closed to the window....it was so beautiful to be so close to the sea. We had a three courses meal, cod for me and scallops for him, and we really cleaned up our plates. It took some time to have the main course, which was once again extremely good (ribeye), very big portion...so big I didn't eat as many chips so I could have space for a dessert. The dessert, being lemon tart one of my favourites, was huge and perfect. Service was very attentive, kind and our waiter was also very charming. The restaurant itself is really classy, with calm and warm colours. The location is breathtaking and I can't wait to take my parents there when they will visit me this summer.
