Date of visit: April 6, 2024 I've had reason to come in here a couple times in the last couple of weeks and am reminded of just how much I like bread, and Breadsmith bread in particular. There is always a nice variety of breads available and I brought my mom some of the rhubarb jam the last time I was there and she really liked it. This time around the recommended I sign up for their loyalty program; I did that when I got home and I have a month to go back and get a free loaf. A free loaf of bread? That's like telling a drunk there's an open bar! Really my only issue here is that when you come in, they say hello but never look at you when they say it, so I have no idea who is saying hello or if they are even saying hello to me. I feel weird saying it back when I have no idea if it was even intended for me!

Hmm not sure what's going on Breadsmith. Went in yesterday for sourdough bread and cookies. The bread seemed to be day old and the cookies were hard as bricks. I even asked if both items were baked that morning but obviously I was not told the truth. The workers were young and the usual bakers did not seem to be in the store. I've been going to this location for years so I hope that the quality returns to what it used to be.

What stood out? I'm glad you asked. It's 10:20 AM on a Saturday. I ordered the cherry brownies. Staff replied, "Sorry, they are not ready. I have been too busy to cut them into sections." So because someone couldn't get their job done even after being open for over two hours the store owner lost a sale. Nice work kid. Imagine owning a store one day and having someone like you being the face of the company.
